Nikhila Abbineni, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate and evidence-based care. She approaches clinical decision-making with a proactive and meticulous mindset, aiming to empower patients to achieve their optimal health outcomes through chronic disease management, preventive care and health education.

She was drawn to health care by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. Medicine allows her to combine science, critical thinking and human connection to improve patients’ quality of life, offering both the privilege and responsibility of guiding them toward better health.

Dr. Abbineni specializes in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia and COPD and emphasizes preventive medicine, including immunizations, age-appropriate cancer screenings and health education. She has a particular interest in geriatrics and provides care for adults ages 18 and older. She chose internal medicine and primary care to form long-term relationships with patients and address the full spectrum of health needs, from prevention to complex disease management.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying different cuisines, playing badminton and spending time with her family. In addition to English, Dr. Abbineni is fluent in Hindi and Telugu.
