About Rex Saito
“As an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, I am dedicated to restoring function, optimizing performance and helping patients return not only to play but to life,” Dr. Saito said. “I believe in personalized, evidence-based care that respects each patient’s goals and lifestyle. While surgery can be transformative, it is not always the first solution. I focus on function, clear communication and a team-based approach to support long-term recovery.”
“I was drawn to medicine by the opportunity to improve lives through science, human connection and problem-solving. Orthopedic surgery, particularly sports medicine, allows me to make a real difference in helping patients return to the activities they love.”
“My clinical interests include ACL and multi-ligament injuries, meniscus and cartilage damage, rotator cuff tears, dislocations, fractures, labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement. I also treat arthritis of the hip, knee and shoulder. I’ve worked with athletes at all levels, including coverage for Miami University in Ohio, the Cincinnati Bengals and FC Cincinnati. I completed my sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center under Dr. Frank Noyes, a world-renowned expert in complex knee disorders. Through that training, I gained advanced surgical skills and a strong foundation in injury prevention and rehabilitation. I treat patients of all ages who are ready to return to an active, pain-free life.”
“I’m thrilled to practice in the great state of Texas and to serve this community. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wonderful wife and children. I enjoy playing the guitar, hiking, backpacking, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing. I also stay active by playing soccer, pickleball and weightlifting.” In addition to English, Dr. Saito is fluent in Japanese.
