Cara Hankins, MD is a physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and did her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She completed her medical training at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care, especially minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has received certification in da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. Hankins joined Seton Medical Center at Harker Heights in 2021 and is excited to care for women in the Central Texas area.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and other outdoor activities with her husband and their Labrador Retriever, Ruby.

Dr. Hankins welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Best doctor I ever had!! she was very attentive, never forced me to do things I didn’t wanted and did a lot of stuff to get to good results. So sad that I had to leave out of state.

The best Obgyn !! Dr.Hankins takes the time to listen and answer all my questions ! She explains things to where you would understand and she’s very quick at responding when communicating through the MyChart app! 10/10 ❤️
