Jacob Minor, MD, FACS is a Texas native and earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at Texas A&M University, where graduated summa cum laude. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While there, he also finished Baylor's International Health Track.
He completed his training in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose, and Throat) at the University of Colorado at Denver. During his residency, he was recognized for outstanding basic science research and was awarded for top examination scores. Dr. Minor was awarded also for exemplary teaching of junior residents during his chief resident year. He also spent extensive time at Colorado Children's Hospital, one of the top five pediatric hospitals in the US.
As a founding member of the medical staff at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights, Dr. Minor provides head and neck medical and surgical care and allergy evaluation and treatment. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Minor is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Association of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He has special interests in revision sinus surgery, functional rhinoplasty to improve breathing, and pediatric otolaryngology.
