Dr. Soubra is board certified in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and has special expertise in the field of pulmonary vascular disease. He has taught and conducted research at Baylor College of Medicine, and also has served as a member of the lung transplant team at both Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and medical director of the Intensive Care Unit at the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Dr. Soubra earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed his residency (as chief resident) in internal medicine at The University of Kansas, followed by a three-year fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, with an additional fellowship in lung transplantation and pulmonary vascular disease.
